Liminal City

Level Design Project | Hours: 15

I created Liminal City as a blend of cyberpunk aesthetics and fast-paced parkour which takes place atop the roofs of an impossibly massive city. A lot of time was spent determining the exact spacing I would use for gaps which the player would need to jump over and grapple across to reach the finish line. The speed of the character was also constantly being tweaked to better fit the size of the map, giving the player the feeling of sprinting through an expansive city. I used lighting techniques to guide the player on the right path through the level.
