Necessity

Necessity is a short story about a man obsessed with chasing the next challenge in his mountain climbing journey. I wanted to capture the passionate drive some people feel to reach the highest of peaks possible, in the most difficult ways possible despite the potential harm they could come across. I personally can't understand this viewpoint, but wanted to challenge myself to capture a feeling I myself can't obtain. Another goal I had was to depict the beauty of nature through only verbal description.
